Bring the ocean breeze to your home with Scallop Shell Plates! Feel the deepness of the ocean as you look into the glow of each piece created by the texture combined with the precious luster paints shimmer and organic painting. This collection is food safe and tarnish free.

Each piece is hand made using spun glass technique by pouring 2000°F liquid glass inside hardened steel molds and spinning the mold until the liquid glass takes shape of the mold. Luster paint is then applied on the hot glass surface to penetrate inside the soft glass surface which cools down to 1200°F after spinning. Luster is a paint material formulated by combining organic color pigments and 24K gold in order to resist such high temperature levels and not to burn out. As the product is cooled down slowly in a special cooling furnace, the color gets to its final aspect with the iridescence summoned from the 24K gold. The production is finished with application of the organic paint which gives the background color to the items.

You can use this piece of art dessert plate as a decor piece on your coffee table, coin plate, jewellery tray or even a soap dish in your bath. You can also serve food as salad, dessert, bread, appetizers, cheese etc… on this plate to decorate your table at your dinner party. Good size to use as a breakfast plate as well. You can also use as a candle plate for your pillars.
